What are your credentials and clinical experience?

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker holding licenses in both Virginia and Washington, DC. I graduated from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in 2015 and have since served clients in inpatient, outpatient, and group practice settings. Much of my prior work focused on substance use, addiction, severe mental illness, relationships, and attachment. I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy as well as training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.

What are your rates?

My fee is $200 for 50 minute sessions regardless of the type of therapy being accessed.

Do you offer online therapy/telehealth?

Yes, I meet with clients via telehealth almost exclusively via telehealth. I have been impressed by the depth of connection and amount of progress I have experienced with clients while providing online therapy. Research also shows that virtual therapy is highly effective! I will provide you with a secure link to a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. I find that many clients to enjoy the convenience and comfort of their home or personal space while delving into difficult topics.

Do you accept insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance. Accessing therapy through insurance can come with many barriers to treatment and greatly impact diagnosis, number of sessions, and confidentiality. I am happy to provide superbills to support you in seeking reimbursement and understand that this may be critical to your ability to access therapy. It may be helpful to discuss your benefits with your insurance provider prior to beginning therapy.
